Mike

I have always had the aptitude to use my hands and imagination to design, create and repair things since I was a teenager.

I apprenticed as a 14-year-old in an autobody shop owned by my Father. This is where I learned tools, the applications and the thought processes to create and construct while growing up around talented people that would build things themselves.

Having common passions for creating stunning handmade wood projects and pieces, I joined my Brother to spend time together and turn those passions into reality.

As time carried on my desire to learn and create grew stronger. I began to take on more complex projects, valuing unique characteristics in the wood I chose and the details added in by hand.

My style is non-traditional- I like to combine concepts from multiple inspiring ideas to create unique one-of-a-kind pieces. I have always valued wood joinery over metal or fastener type joinery, using traditional ways of building and letting the wood speak for itself. I believe the pieces should leave people with the feeling that they were built with skill, love and creativity.
